Fédération Nationale des Guides Interprètes
The French National Federation of Tourist Guides represents and unites Licensed Tourist Guides, while promoting and defending their profession.
It is a professional non-profit organisation. It has about 700 members, all of whom passed an examination and received professional accreditation from both the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture and Communication.
FNGI is a founding member of the FEG – European Federation of Tourist Guide Associations - www.feg-touristguides.org.
(20 country members represent nearly 45,000 professional tourist guides.)
